Just gotta give a shout out to EXPED for their customer service. I have 4 pads all since about 2010. My son’s synmat DLX LW blew 2 baffles while we were at scout camp last weekend.
I checked with EXPED on the warranty…it was out of warranty but they asked me to send pictures as they might be able to fix the pad…so I did. Next thing I know they are sending me a new mat Ultra 5r LW. I was shocked. I had no expectations. The pad was old, I was really hoping they could fix it for a small fee.
It’s not often when a company far exceeds your expectations.

I recently the same experience. Two baffles blew out on my Synmat DLX on a fall trip. Sent them photos of the mat, and once they determined it was not repairable they sent me a new one. Great customer service from beginning to end!

I have not had to use their service department, but I sure like my Exped Orion 3 tent and my Exped sleeping bags. The tent has been through some heavy wind-driven downpours that put it in the "bombproof" category for me, and for a 4-season tent it has really good ventilation; good enough to use in the humid South-East! It is my go-to tent if bad weather is possible, no matter what the season.
I did call Exped USA with a question when deciding on my last sleeping bag. I got right through to a real person and she was able to answer my questions.

I had the same wonderful experience with Exped. I purchased a secondhand Exped tent, and broke a pole while hiking in the Rocky's. I reached out to find out where I could purchase another and they told me to ship it over, they replaced the whole pole and threw in another two sections and paid shipping back to me. I have three of their pads and love them all. I've always been impressed with the design of their products and the customer service will keep me coming back.

I had the same experience with an old Exped far out of warranty. Separated baffle. I was fishing for a deal or promo code for a replacement but to my delight they offered a new one on them. I have 4 Expeds and wouldn’t hesitate to buy again. Never leaked.

My family and I have used Exped pads for a number of years and always marveled at their quality and functionality. When one pad's baffles were blown ( wrestling boys may have contributed to that), Exped replaced it. They are an awesome company with great products! I've used one of their sleeping bags for well over a decade!
