www.bwca.com provides the online maps as basic information. These maps should not be used for detailed planning or navigation purposes. The base maps are provide courtesy of the USGS. Microsoft TerraServer.net provides the image databases accessed by the www.bwca.com map application.

Third Parties

With the exception of our public Member Directory, www.bwca.com does not release any personal information gathered from www.bwca.com users to ANYONE outside of the www.bwca.com organization with the exception being when a member on our Messageboard is attempting to defraud, damage, harass others or generally cause mischief. BWCA.com is very much against anonymous internet behavior which is troublesome in nature. Online Messageboard Extras

When a member signs up or message is posted to the www.BWCA.com online Messageboard, our servers capture the originating Internet Protocol (IP) Address. This information allows us to identify the origin of posted messages. By having this information, we can track malicious posters and contact their Internet Provider if their posted messages continue to violate our Messageboard Guide. We use this IP address at our discretion to protect the site from what behavior we deem are negative to a productive online community.

Disputes

  1. You will resolve any claim, cause of action or dispute ("claim") you have with us arising out of or relating to this Statement or bwca.com exclusively in a state or federal court located in Minnesota. The laws of the State of Minnesota will govern this Statement, as well as any claim that might arise between you and us, without regard to conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located in Hennepin County, Minnesota for the purpose of litigating all such claims.
