Anyone have a good or bad opinion of Olympus Tough TG-6? Apologies if anyone have previously asked here. Thanks.

I have an older version of this camera and it certainly is tough and continues to work flawlessly.

My only complaint is that I wish it had a higher optical zoom and it's a tad heavy when I take it backpacking. Otherwise, it has served well for several years. Good image quality and solidly built.

I found the images to be of poor quality. Pixelation in areas. To me it was a disappointing purchase. I like the durability aspect but the photo quality isn’t even as good as my iPhone.

I would have returned it if I could. But by the time I realized how poor the photos were it was too late.

It’s probably a great choice for field work or other utilitarian purposes. Possibly it’s great at close up photography but I don’t do as much of that.

I have a TG 4 still going strong. Easy durable point and shoot camera. While I use my phone a lot these days the TG 4 comes out around the water and other situations as well.

I’ve got one you can buy… I’m not a fan. I either bring my DSLR or just use my iPhone.

I like it, but I mostly play with the macro settings.

It doesn’t have much in the way of zoom capabilities. It does tolerate my abuse well.
