Sometimes the fishing gods smile upon you. I caught these two 19-inch largemouth on the same cast in a shallow bay in Basswood...one on the front treble and one on the back treble of my spook.

I've caught doubles and the fight isn't much. They work against each other. Last summer, I caught a 19-incher and a 17-incher on the same cast.

I will paddle eternal, Kevlar and carbon.

I think Miss Molly is right. They impede each other, so can't fight as hard. The tricky part was landing them. I just had a small net, but luckily they lined up for a split second and I was able to get them with one swoop.
