I'll be up first week of July. Never been up mid summer before.

What depth would I begin at for walleyes and northerns?

Shallow. Always amazed at how shallow they still are yet in early July. Last July, we were finding them in 4-6 fow in the early afternoon hours.

What is the water clarity of the lake? The darker or more stained the lake is the shallower i would start 6' fow. If the water clarity is good i would start deeper 12' fow.

I don’t target northerns but always find plenty. I’ll echo what others have said, first break for walleyes, depending on the lake 6-12 feet especially in the evenings.

Good luck!!!!!
