Happy holidays all! Anyone get a new canoe for Christmas? Or canoeing accoutrements? Give us gift card recipients some ideas!

Only 74 days until Canoecopia, lots of gear awaits. :) I always wait until March to fulfill my Christmas gifts.

I ordered a Magic in Blacklite w/carbon trim before Christmas if that counts.

That counts! Do post some photos of your Magic once it gets in. I have full carbon gunwales and parts on my blacklite NW Solo. You’re going to love it. So cool Northstar recently added carbon for the Magic. Charlie’s been hard at work.

I ordered a Phoenix in IXP with wood trim that I wasn’t planning on receiving until February or March based on their production schedule. Seems they were doing a big batch of IXP boats though because I got it two weeks ago.

Definitely getting back down to Canoecopia this year. Good point about their sales!

I bought a Nova Craft earlier this year as a combined Christmas and birthdays present between my wife and me if that counts. If you're looking for ideas on how to spend your gift card, how about a nice paddle?

Consider where you plan to break in your new new canoe. How about a splurge and pay for your Q trip this year. If that is old hat, plan extra great food for your next BW trip or a few extra days in the BW.

Had that same thought Dan. Currently planning a week-long paddle down the Current River in southern Missouri with the new Phoenix next year. "That's what winter is for," as Mr. Jerry "One Match" Vandiver would say.

Really was just curious if anyone got anything they were excited about. Always fun to hear about new gear. Part of me was wondering if anyone had gotten a canoe, was it wrapped??

No new canoe, but my wife got me a pair of "Essex Industry" canoe display stands.......If I did this correctly, you should be able to see a photo of my Northstar Phoenix sitting on them in my garage....

Gorgeous Phoenix Mike! Is that the red StarLite layup by chance?

Just delivered today. A family from Saint Louis dropped it off from Piragis. Northwind 17 in blacklite. I'm pumped.
