Way down on the list (without disparaging any of those mentioned, several of which I enjoy and recommend): Everything else. |

By the way, I also love the Trail Center. We ate breakfast there on our way out a couple years ago. Good stuff, Maynard! My buddy had pancakes that would cover a hub cap. |

quark2222: "My Sisters Place on Hwy 61 is quite good. If you are coming to Grand Marais from the Gunflint Trail, Trail Center is also very good, but check their hours, as since the virus, they are not open a couple of days each week. This is exactly what I was going to say. I will add that Trail Center is my favorite restaurant anywhere, not just up north. |

2. Trail Center. Solid food. The four-cheese grilled cheese and a chocolate malt is the way to go. Super-fun decor and atmosphere. 3. My Sister's Place : under-rated thin crust pizza goodness 4. Angry Trout for catch-of-the-day sandwich or salad. Most beautiful food I've seen. Tastes great as well. It is expensive to eat in Cook County. Just sayin'. |

My first time there I thought it was just going to be some basic below average bar food, but boy was I wrong. Excellent food! It's a must stop for me now! |
