SR7 Shad Rap will get you where you need to be in my experience. My favorite lure for that time is a lipless crank bait. Always my first lure tied on from camp.

Greetings. For a mid-June trip, can anyone recommend a depth for diving Raps and the like for walleye and/or bass? I’ve not fished the B-dub enough to have any idea or data on fish behavior patterns, water temps, etc. The only thing I know for sure is that the water will be pretty cold in June, but likely warming up fast.

Thanks!

By mid-June, water temps will be warm and walleyes will be headed toward deeper water. Walleyes will be beyond post-spawn doldrums and eager to eat. But not quite ready to be chasing crank baits. A slow- trolled crawler harness or leech under a slip-bobber can attract many walleye.
